As photographers, we are often thinking about photo sessions during certain seasons. In April we will be thinking about Bluebell sessions. From June to August we will be capturing the summer sun with wildflowers. During Autumn we are chasing the red colours of the leaves. Winter is time for sessions with Christmas trees and warm hugs.
What about the in-between seasons? Do we stop shooting then? Absolutely not!
Today I would like to share images from a family photo session I did at the end of September. In September the sun is not so hot. The trees have not yet turned red but nature is still so beautiful.
This family photo session took place in a lovely common in Surrey. The grass was still lovely and long and there were plenty of leaves on the trees.
Annie and her family met me at the car park. We walked together to the common. Annie’s family was perfect to photograph. Her little baby girl was only a few weeks old. The other two boys enjoyed walking in the common and holding hands. We had lots of giggles and cuddles too. Annie’s boy enjoyed in particular being thrown in the air and running through the blanket. The joy on his face was just the best.
I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favourite images from this session. I think this session is proof that you don’t need to have a specific season in order to have a family photo session. In fact you should not wait for a perfect season. Book your family session any time and freeze these beautiful memories as often as you can.
I would love to hear from you and book you for a family photo session. Please get in touch and let’s start planning your family photo session.
Till next time
